For the past 8 years, I’ve had the pleasure of calling this beautiful coastal area home, and I feel incredibly grateful to serve such an amazing community of pet parents.
I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, where my love for animals started on my family’s ranch. We always had at least three dogs running around, and I grew up barrel racing horses, cleaning stalls, and learning what it means to care deeply for animals. That upbringing shaped who I am today—and laid the foundation for everything Coastal Critters stands for.

One of those childhood dogs, Oliver, wasn’t just a pet—he was my best friend and my soul dog. He’s the reason this business exists.
The name Coastal Critters and our logo are both dedicated to him. His memory lives on in every pup I meet, every gentle grooming session, and every happy tail wag.
